Easy Scholarships with May Deadlines






If you’re on the scholarship hunt this May, here a few fairly easy ones that’ll keep you busy. Most of these require essays so it’s a good idea to take your time with each ensuring that all are well-planned out and original. And of course grammar and writing quality are important. Even when you come across an essay scholarship with a small word count (the shortest one only requires 140 characters), it’s still important that your thoughts are organized in such a way that when reading, it flows logically from one point to the next. B. Davis Scholarship

This scholarship comes from StudentAwardSearch.com and offers a $1,000 scholarship to anyone who can best answer the question “How your education has contributed to who you are today, or how it will affect who you will become” in 1000 words or less. The deadline is May 28th so there’s still plenty of time. This is a fairly easy scholarship open to high school juniors and seniors and those already enrolled in college. They don’t require a transcript of grades or letters of recommendation, simply compose your essay and send it to awards@studentawardsearch.com to be eligible.

The Cottage Inn Scholarship

A scholarship that’ll award $2,500, $1,000 and $500 to selected winners who compose the best 1,500 word essay on the topic given on the site. The deadline for this scholarship is May 31.

Logistics and Supply Chain Scholarship

Must be a college or graduate student pursuing a degree in Logistic/Supply Chain Management with a 3.0 GPA in the U.S. to be eligible. First place will receive $1,000 and second a $500 scholarship. Submit your 1,000 or less word essay on the given topic by the deadline May 15.

Maple Leaf Dentist Volunteer Scholarship

This scholarship is worth $500 and simply requires that you list various volunteer activities you’ve participated in and respond to two questions. There’s no minimum word count for each of the questions, but they ask that you be as concise as possible. The deadline for this scholarship is May 30.

ScholarshipDetective.com’s $1,500 Scholarship

This is one of the easiest scholarships out there as it only requires a 140 character explanation on how you plan on using the scholarship money. There’s also an online form you must complete which asks for basic contact information as well as what major you plan on pursuing and GPA. The deadline is May 31.

Crown & Caliber Entrepreneur’s Scholarship

This is a unique scholarship worth $1,000 to a student pursuing any degree who can come up with the best business proposal that can compete with companies like Google or Facebook. The best entries will be presented to a team of venture capitalist who will detail pros and cons of each submission. The deadline is May 31.

LM Scholarship Program

This scholarship is worth $500 and simply requires an essay that details an experience you’ve had where better safety procedures would’ve prevented injuries. The essay has no minimum requirements, but applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or greater to be eligible. The deadline is May 31.
