April is a month of spring cleaning, clever pranks and getting a refund from Uncle Sam. But that’s not all April is good for, there are a few easy scholarships available to apply for if you’re interested in putting some spring into your scholarship search (corny pun, I know!). Anyway, keep the momentum up throughout the year by sticking with www.EasyScholarshipsNow.com and applying to each of the programs in these monthly scholarship lists. At least two scholarships are specific toward a certain major but the rest are open to anyone. Here are some easy April scholarships to check out:

Zenni’s Poetry Contest

This scholarship has three tiers of awards: First place will receive $3,000; second will win $2,000 and third will be awarded $1,000. Complete the online form and submit your poem on the topic listed on the site. Deadline is April 1.

Study Habits Scholarship
If you have good study habits, this might be one of the best easy scholarships for you. The $500 award is given to one student who must be enrolled at an accredited institution. You must write a 1,000 word essay on the topic listed on the website. The deadline is April 1.

Buildium’s Build U. Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, Engineering, or Computer Science students and is worth $2,500. It will be awarded both in the fall and spring semesters. You’ll need to write a 1,000 word essay and submit it by the deadline of April 1 for the spring semester and October 31 for fall.

Senior Care Innovation Scholarship
This scholarship is targeted at students in fields related to senior care. You must be enrolled at a 2 or 4-year accredited school and majoring in gerontology, long term care administration, social work, medicine, nursing, or sociology. It will award $1,000 to five winners that create the best essay between 500 and 900 words long on one of the essay questions listed on the site. The deadline is April 15.

SoftwareProviders.com $1,000 Scholarship

All that’s required for this scholarship is a 600 to 800 word essay on the topic given on the site. You must be a high school senior planning to attend college or are already enrolled to be eligible. They have three deadlines: April 15, July 15 and October 15.

moolahSPOT $1,000 Scholarship
This is a fairly easy scholarship that only requires a 400 word essay answering one of the listed questions on the application form. Any student over 16 who is planning on attending or is attending a college or university is eligible. Simply fill out the online application entirely and compose a 400 word question answering one of the questions. The deadline is April 30.
