Below are scholarships that are due in February. The awards listed below vary in award prize and eligibility requirements so be sure to check those before applying. Also, If you’ve missed the deadline, keep these scholarships in mind for next year!

Scholarship by eSchoolView

To apply, you need show interest in computer programming, web design, and graphic design. The deadline is February 1. The award ranges from $1,000 to $5,000.

Monthly Scholarship by SportQuest Ministries

To apply, you need be a varsity-level athlete in any sport. In addition, you must be a senior, or sophomore, or junior at any high school. Furthermore, you have to have a C grade average. You have to be a committed follower of Christ and apply the message of Playing With Purpose. The deadline is February 1. The award ranges from $300 to $2,000.


Scholarship in Voice by the National Society of Arts and Letters

To apply, you must submit a vocal performance of 10 minutes. In addition, you must be between the ages of 16 and 22. You have to be a US citizen and then submit proof of citizenship with your application. The deadline is February 1. The award is $5,000.

Abercrombie & Fitch Scholarship by National Society of High School Scholars Foundation

To apply, you need be achieving academic excellence while avoiding bullying. Or you can also apply to this scholarship if you have been leading anti-bullying activities in your community or at school. The deadline is February 1. The award varies.

Worldwide Essay Contest: Education In 50 Years

Bid4Papers.com is offering a $500 scholarship in this essay contest. Eligible students are those under 25. Simple compose a 750 to 1,000 word essay by the deadline February 15. First place winner receives $500; second place $200 and third place a 3Doodler 3D Printing Pen.

Smiles in Los Angeles Scholarship

Silva Arejian, DDS, is offering a $1,000 scholarship from her practice in downtown Los Angeles open to any student who is a U.S. citizen and is pursuing a degree in an accredited post-secondary institution. Simply compose a 1,000 word essay in addition to your contact info and send to the email or address listed on the site. The deadline for this scholarship is February 15.

BBB&C Scholarship Essay Contest

Open to high school students that write a 3 page, or less, essay on the topic listed on the website. Winner will receive $2,500. Deadline is February 18.

Tutor the People Essay Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students currently in high school planning to attend college or are already enrolled and have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA. Submit your essays on how you’ve helped someone by the deadline February 20.

$500 Local Satellite TV Scholarship

All that’s required for this scholarship is a 300 to 500 word essay answering the question listed on the website. This is open to high school seniors or current college students with a GPA of at least 2.5. Deadline is February 23.
