Michael Jackson Scholarship
Michael Jackson was a very charitable artist while alive, he was mentioned in the Guiness Book of Records as being the “Pop Star who supports the most charity organizations”. He established the Michael Jackson United Negro College Endowed Scholarship Fund with an initial 1.5 million in 1986. If you belong to one of the UNCF member colleges, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, are majoring in Communications, English or Performing Arts and are in financial need, then you can receive up to $5,000 toward your educational expenses. Other charities Michael supported include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Prince’s Trust, American Cancer Society and the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
4A’s Foundation Advertising Scholarships
This foundation supports aspiring art directors and copywriters of diverse ethnic backgrounds through Advertising Scholarships. They’ve provided more than $1.7 million in scholarships to students of different races pursuing careers in the advertising industry. The Bill Bernbach Diversity Scholarship awards $5,000 to minority students who exhibit extreme financial need but show promise in the profession. Operation Jumpstart doubles the amount by providing $10,000 in two installments to students who meet the same eligibility requirements as the previous scholarship. Both of these awards are given to students who enrolled in one of six OJS III portfolio schools:

- The Pratt Institute
- The Ad Center at Virginia Commonwealth University
- The Creative Cirucs
- The University of Texas at Austin
These scholarships are also available to juniors at two OJS III colleges:

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women in Business
In partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Goldman Sachs, the multinational investment banking and securities firm, is offering $5,000 for two academic years to women who maintain a 3.0 GPA, is enrolled in one of the participating colleges, is Hispanic and demonstrates financial need.
