The Brian White Academic Scholarship
The Brian White Academic Scholarship is given by attorney Brian White, a personal injury attorney located in Houston, Texas. This is one of the easy scholarships being offered. This scholarship is offered to assist motivated students to help in furthering their education. To be eligible for this scholarship you must be enrolled in an accredited high school, college or university in the United States. You must either be a current undergrad or in your final year of high school and 17 years old or older. The award amount is $1,000 and has a deadline date of July 1, 2014. The written essay topic is on DUI/DWI offenders.
The Parker Waichman Scholarship
The national law firm of Parker Waichman is offering the Parker Waichman Scholarship through an essay contest. You can find the essay question on their website. You must be currently enrolled in college or enrolling during 2014 to be eligible for this easy scholarship. The award amount is $1,000 and the deadline date is July 31, 2014. The winner will be announced on August 14, 2014 and the name of the winner will be posted to the law firm’s Facebook page. You are only allowed one essay per person. This scholarship can only be used for tuition and cost of books. The checks will be made out to the school you will be or currently attending.
Anything But Law School Graduate Scholarship
The Willens Law Offices, located in Chicago Illinois, is offering the 2014 Anything but Law School Graduate Scholarship. This easy scholarship is in place to dissuade students from practicing law. The firm feels there are not enough jobs in the field of law to properly train students and is issuing this scholarship as a means to bring this point to light. To be eligible for this scholarship you must be an undergraduate entering graduate school in 2014, a U. S. citizen and currently attending school in the United States. This law office is offering a $1,000 award with a deadline date for submission of May 1, 2014. There is a one page essay you must write describing your reason for choosing your specific field of study and why the job prospects seem good after graduation. Included with your application, you must submit a current official undergrad transcript and a copy of your acceptance letter to the graduate school. The winner of the scholarship will be announced in August of 2014. They also are encouraging promotion of this scholarship information via social media.
