This scholarship is worth $1,000 and is open to any college student attending a U.S. college. They ask that applicants write a 500-1,000 word essay describing a plan to arrive at your career goals. You must email your essay to the address listed on the site. The deadline is September 7.

JW Surety Bonds $1,000 Scholarship

This scholarship asks applicants to create engaging content for the JW Surety Bonds blog. This can be done via article (500-2,000 words), infographic, video (1 to 5 minutes) or slide (10-50 slides). Whatever you feel most comfortable with. The deadline for this scholarship is September 30.

CoffeeForLess.com’s “Hit the Books” Scholarship

For those who consider themselves coffee connoisseurs comes a simple scholarship worth $500. To be eligible, simply be between 18 and 25 and enrolled in an accredited institution. All that’s required is that you compose a 500 word essay on how education is important in your life and how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals. This is a bi-annual scholarship with one deadline in January 31 and another on September 30.

GoCollege Monthly Scholarship

This is a lottery scholarship worth $250 to any student who can best answer the question “How Can We Make This Site Better for You.” All that’s required is that eligible students fill out the online application form and give their best response. $250 may not sound like a lot, but every little bit counts when it comes to saving money during college. Aaron Seever Sales Scholarship

The Aaron Seever Scholarship is particularly for students who are interested in entering into the field of sales. This scholarship is due on September 30 although a spring semester one is available until January 31. The winner will receive not only $500 but also an Apple iPod Mini. The purpose of the essay is to have students whoa are interested in sales talk about what they want to get out of the field and what they feel the industry means to society at large and how well it may work for the needs that numerous people hold.
